How are LED dots controlled?
LED dots are controlled by a system that uses DMX512 or similar protocols, like SPI to send detailed instructions to each pixel, allowing for precise and dynamic lighting control. Starts with the control system- the dedicated hardware controller and a stable power supply. A software application running on a computer to create different lighting effects. Each LED dot has a unique address or position in the sequence. The control system sends data to each pixel in the order of their addresses. This allows for individual control over each pixel, enabling complex patterns and animations.
