Can I Cut and Solder These 10M LED Strip Lights Myself?
Yes, absolutely. The DMX / WS2811 LED strips are designed for easy cutting and soldering.
You can use scissors to cut the strip along the marked cutting points, or use a soldering iron to remove the existing cable connector. After cutting, simply solder the wires to connect two LED strip sections together.
Please make sure to cut only at the designated cutting points and follow the correct wiring regulations when reconnecting the LED strips.
Example:
For a 60 LEDs/m DMX512 LED strip with 10 pixels per meter, every 6 LEDs form one pixel group, and the cutting point is every 10 cm.
